John P. Hannon, III

John P. Hannon, III is Senior Associate Attorney in Merhab Robinson & Clarkson’s estate planning department.  John’s experience is wide ranging from preparing revocable and irrevocable trust agreements to assisting families with the administration of trusts and estates, including obtaining funding sub-trusts and drafting trust allocation agreements, and trust termination agreements. John has also advised clients on real property issues, including analyzing chains of title, clearing clouds on title, preparing deeds, assessor forms, deeds of trust, and promissory notes as well as assisting with preparation of Form 706 Federal Estate Tax Returns and Form 709 Federal Gift Tax Returns. He works collaborates with clients and their tax advisors to maximize tax efficiency and savings for clients.  John also has experience with probate and trust litigation issues. He has prepared ex parte applications, memoranda of points and authorities and petitions, assisted trust litigators with actions against trustees and estates as well as Heggstad petitions, petitions for modifications to trusts, probate proceedings and notices to creditors.
