Charlene Luong

Charlene Luong joined Merhab Robinson & Clarkson Estate Planning team in October 2023 as a Trust & Estate Paralegal. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a senior paralegal at the Law Offices of Holly Hutchins for 16 years. Charlene worked closely with attorney Ms. Hutchins in providing clients with the utmost care and professionalism in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Conservatorship and Court accountings. She strives to provide the same work ethic, dedication and experience at MRC.

In 1985, at the age of 9 years, Charlene was a Vietnamese refugee who fled by boat with her family and was among the lucky few who survived. Initially settling in Texas, her family then moved to Orange County, CA. 

Charlene graduated from UCLA with a B.A. degree in Political Science with double specializations in Business Administration and Labor & Workplace Studies. For several years, she explored the business arena and worked as a Business Development Manager by assisting in launching a private dental practice. Charlene’s passion has always been in law and she went on to obtain her ABA-approved Paralegal Certification from Cerritos College with specialty recognitions in Probate & Estate Planning, Commercial Law and Legal Technology. Charlene has been a Notary Public since 2008, and is fluent in Vietnamese.

Outside of work, Charlene actively supports her two daughters in Girls Scout of America. In addition, Charlene and her daughters train at a local dojo where they obtained their 1st Dan Black Belt Taekwondo Certifications from the Kukkiwon Organization in Korea. They are currently working on their 2nd Degree.
