Neil Negrete

Neil Negrete is an Associate in Merhab Robinson & Clarkson’s Trust and Estate practice, where he primarily assists clients with Trust Administration, Probate, and other trust proceedings.

Mr. Negrete was admitted to the California Bar in 2018. He is currently a member of the Orange County Bar Association – Trust & Estate section.

In 2017, Mr. Negrete obtained his J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While enrolled, he was President and co-founder of the McGeorge Legal Music Society, an organization that highlighted copyright law, trademark law and contract law in the entertainment industry. Neil is an active alumnus and annually participates in events held by the McGeorge School.

Mr. Negrete is an Orange County native who was born and raised in Huntington Beach, where he graduated from his alma mater of Huntington Beach High School. Mr. Negrete attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he achieved a B.S. degree in Environmental Biology.

In his free time, you probably can find Mr. Negrete at a local record store perusing the vinyl selection. When he isn’t searching for new rhythms and grooves, Mr. Negrete enjoys participating in outdoor recreational activities such as white-water rafting, camping, photography, hiking and fishing. Mr. Negrete lives in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, where he and his wife co-parent their beloved dog (Buster) and cat (Esquire/Essie).
