Lunar New Year brings in the new year based on the Chinese lunar calendar. It is the one of the most important holidays in China, and is also observed by Vietnamese and Korean cultures. The Chinese Chun Jie and Vietnamese Tết festivals are celebrated all over the world, in which the communities wishes wealth, happiness, and good fortune to their family, friends, and colleagues.

The Lunar New Year also recognizes the Chinese Zodiac, in which an animal and its attributes is representative of the year in a repeating 12-year cycle. This 2021 new year is the Year of the Ox, which signifies gentleness, diligence, hard work, and patience.
