Mark P. O’ Brien, III

Estate Planning Paralegal

Mark O’Brien is a paralegal for the firm’s Estate Planning Department and joined the law firm in November of 2016. He helps clients understand why it’s necessary to have an estate plan.  Mr. O’Brien attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned his B.S. in Finance, Real Estate and Business Law. Afterwards, Mr. O’Brien went on to obtain his ABA Paralegal Certificate from California State University, Los Angeles. In 2017, he completed a taxation program at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is currently attending law school part-time at University of La Verne School of Law and anticipates graduating in 2021.

Mr. O’Brien has been working as a paralegal since 2012 in a variety of areas of law – more specifically, trust administration, probate, estate planning, gift and tax planning, transactional corporate / real estate and litigation. Mr. O’Brien is also a licensed California Notary Public.

In his spare, Mr. O’Brien volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association.
